Introduction-Economy
The main purpose of Economics Department of the Management and Economics Faculty is to train experts who are able to diagnose and analyze problems at the micro and macro levels of the society using the modern science of economy and introduce policies and procedures to obviate these problems. Therefore, students will choose one of the subfields of Macro-economy, Financial Economy or Economic-social systems Engineering based on their interests and counseling of their supervisors. Courses are designed to enable students master economic concepts and theories and also use mathematics and statistics in designing economic models and their analysis. A proper combination of these approaches helps graduates of these courses to work in different economic sections of public and private organizations and continue their studies up to Ph.D. level.
